Process Description Feedstock – the treated acid gas is separated in separator 1 from the droplet moisture, which is discharged from the unit. Separation gas is fed to the bottom of absorber 2 after heating its part in the refluxing section 3. Water solution of amine is supplied upstream of the absorption section 4 of the absorber . The saturated absorbent is discharged from the bottom of the absorber , and the treated gas enters refluxing section 3, where it is cooled under refluxing conditions, partially dried and treated from absorbent vapors, and discharged from the top of the absorber .
Process features
Cooling of the treated gas in the upper refluxing section of the absorber to reduce amine losses and prevent foaming
Technical Specification
Treated gas pressure 0.6–10 MPa
Treated gas temperature 15–45 ºС
Residual content of acidic components in the treated gas - 7–20 mg/m
