Energy-efficient technology of vacuum distillation of fuel oil

50EN
Process Description
1) The heated atmospheric residue is fed into the vacuum evaporator 1, from which heavy residue and vapors are removed. Vapors are fed into the ejector 2, where they are absorbed by the circulating distillate, and then sent to vessel 3, from which vapors are fed to cooler 5 by pump 4. The balance amount of distillate is removed from the plant.

2) The heated AR is fed into evaporator 1, from which heavy residue and vapors are removed. The latter are cooled in heat exchanger 2 and separated in separator 5. Distillate is pumped by pump 7 through cooler 6 into ejector 4, where distillate absorbs separation vapors and is removed from the plant.

3) The heated fuel oil is fed to evaporator 2 at the bottom of shell 1. A heavy residue is removed from bottom of shell 1, and vacuum gas oil vapors enter mixing condenser 3, where they are absorbed by cooled vacuum gas oil, and absorbate is removed from the plant. Residual vapors are withdrawn from overhead of shell 1 by ejector 4 and removed from the plant.
