Extraction of propane-butane from APG

34EN
Process Description
Feedstock - APG is mixed with the stabilization gas supplied from heat exchanger 2, compressed and cooled in the compressor room 1 and divided into two streams. The first stream is fed to the column 7 heater for cooling and mixed with the second stream cooled in the heat exchanger 2, which is connected to an external cold source 3. The combined stream is divided in the separator 4 into the separation residue, which is sent to the device 8, and the gas, which is dehydrated and/or treated in the dehydration and/or treatment unit 5 and fed to the refluxer 6. Refluxing gas from the top of refluxer 6 is reduced in device 10, heated in heat exchanger 2 and removed from the plant as DSG. Reflux is removed from the bottom of refluxer 6, its pressure is reduced in device 9 and it is fed into the column 7 together with the separation residue. PBF is discharged from column 7 bottom, and stabilization gas is sent from the top to the heat exchanger 2.
