Hydrotreatment of diesel fractions with hydrogenate recirculation

54EN
Process Description
Raw material – a homogeneous raw material mixture produced by mixing hydrocarbon raw materials, solvent and HCG. The solvent and HCG are fed as a working stream into the ejector 1. The feedstock is in contact with the catalyst in reactor 2 with a block of heat exchange elements 3 located in the catalyst layer 4. Hydrogenate is discharged from reactor 2 and separated into solvent and balance hydrogenate. The latter's pressure is reduced by means of a throttle valve 5, it is heated in the inner space of the unit of heat exchange elements 3 and separated in the stabilization unit 6 into a commercial product, light hydrocarbon fraction and off-gas.

Process features
  • Low capital investment and operating costs
  • It is applicable for hydrotreating kerosene or low-sulfur diesel fractions with total sulfur content up to 0.6% or deep desulfurization of pre-hydrotreated gas oil fractions.
  • Reduction of catalyst load by 40 %
  • Reduction of processing costs by 20-30 %
  • No quenching
