Process Description Feedstock – LNG, supplied by pump 2 from tank 1, is heated in evaporator 4. The resulting gas is reduced in expander 6, separated in separator 7 into liquid cryoproduct and separation gas. Liquid LNG is pumped by pump 3 into the cooling system of tank 1 as a refrigerant. The separation gas is mixed with heated liquid LNG coming from the cooling system of tank 1, heated in evaporator 5, compressed by compressor 8 to the pressure of supply to the consumer and removed from the unit. Expander 6 is combined with pumps 2, 3 and compressor 8 by electrical connection.
Process features
Exclusion of the use of outside energy
Preheating of the reduced LNG is carried out by atmospheric air
Heating to a positive temperature takes place in the compressor compressing the gas to the consumption pressure
