Natural gas pressure reduction to produce AUTOGAS, LNG (option)

23EN
Process Description
Feedstock – high-pressure NG is dehydrated in unit 1 and divided into two streams. The first stream is fed for cooling into the lower heat and mass transfer section of column 3, mixed with the second stream cooled in heat exchanger 2, pressure is reduced in device 4 and the stream is fed into the middle part of column 3, from the bottom of which demethanized condensate is discharged and fed into unit 6, from which fractions of C2+ hydrocarbons are removed. A part of the low-pressure gas extracted between column 3 and heat exchanger 2 is used as a refrigerant in unit 6. The pressure of deethanized gas from the top of column 3 is reduced in device 5 to produce low-pressure gas, which, as a refrigerant, it is first fed into the upper heat exchange section of column 3, then into heat exchanger 2 and discharged from the unit.
