Deethanization of APG with production of ethane fraction and LPG

35EN
Process Description
Feedstock - compressed APG is divided into two streams, the first is supplied for cooling as a heat transfer medium to the heater of demethanizer 9 and mixed with the second stream cooled in heat exchanger 2. The resulting mixture is separated in separator 5 into water condensate discharged from the unit and a hydrocarbon stream. The latter is dehydrated in unit 8 and separated into dry gas and dry hydrocarbon condensate, which pressyre is reduced by means of a reducing valve 10 and fed into a demethanizer 9. The dry gas is cooled in a multi-flow heat exchanger 3, its pressure is reduced by means of a reducing valve 11 and it is fed into a separator 6. Gas is discharged from the separator 6 overhead, and from the bottom – the separation residue, which pressure is reduced by means of a reducing valve 12 and fed into the demethanizer 9. The gas is cooled in the heat exchanger 4, separated in separator 7 into gas and separation residue, which pressures are reduced in expander 15 and by means of a reducing valve 13, respectively, and sent to demethanizer 9. NGL is discharged from the bottom of the demethanizer and DSG is discharged from the top and is heated sequentially in heat exchangers 4, 3 and 2 and is removed from the unit. In the multi-flow heat exchanger 3, the refrigerant circulates through a separate closed circuit as per flow diagram: heat exchanger 3 reducing valve 14 heat exchanger 3 compressor station 1 heat exchanger 3.
