Zero waste technology for treatment of sulfurhydrogen and mercaptan-containing APG

20EN
Process Description
Feedstock – APG is separated in separator 1 into condensate, which is removed from the plant, and separation gas. The latter is fed to unit 2, where it is treated in operating adsorber 3 to produce the desulfurized gas removed from the unit. At the same time, the adsorbent is regenerated in the adsorber 4. Regeneration occurs by purging with treated gas heated in heat exchangers 8 and 6, which is supplied from the separator 11. The resulting sour gas is sent to unit 5, where it is mixed with the supply air and subjected to selective oxidation in reactor 7. The resulting oxidation product, after cooling in the heat exchanger 8, is sent to the unit 9. Non-volatile oxidation products are absorbed by circulating oil by means of multiphase pump 10, and separated in separator 11 into treated gas and oil, the balance excess of which is discharged to oil treatment unit 12.
