Single-stage production of high-octane gasoline

52EN
Process Description
Feedstock - naphtha is heated in recuperative heat exchanger 1 and heater 2 and sent to reactor 3 with a catalyst layer heated by flue gases coming from furnace 5. Reaction products are cooled in recuperative heat exchanger 1, and separated in distillation unit 4 into stable high-octane gasoline and LPG. Refrigerant is formed by burning fuel and regeneration gas in furnace 5. Regeneration gas is produced by oxidation regeneration of catalyst in reactor 6 by purging catalyst with oxygen-rich gas. To ensure process continuity, one of the reactors is in the reprocessing stage and the other is in the regeneration stage.
